Hey guys im Nick Aaron. live in St margarets, Twickenham, im an actor, been in London 14 years, im Welsh and originally from Swansea. My family thought it was all about them and were touched by my frequent trips along the m4 to see them only to find out that it miraculously coincided with a swell and so caught on to the fact that im constantly checking the charts (not the top 40).
I have a car but i need to change it as its an old 76 mgb and doesnt like long journeys or more than 2 people and an overnight bag sat in him.
Rustily (due to not getting home much because of work etc and not joining up sooner) i ride shortboards and have a few at home in wales.
Met some members the other night at the meeting and you seem like a really good bunch and so im looking forward to surfers ear with you and during the winter maybe a couple of icecream heads, happy days.
So ping me back and holla whats up, welcome etc.
Look forward to meeting a lot of you. So for now i bid you adieu.

Hey Ben, so im a bit confused as to where the trip inside knowledge is happening. What i mean is how do you find out if there is a car heading to a coast etc on a given weekend? Do i need to be doing something?
Also im keem for the end of summer jaunt so would like to show my interest in that too.

Nick,
As per the EOS trip, see my reply to your other post.
In regard to inside knowledge, it depends on who's in the car with you and if they have ever bothered to explore or not?! - but asking those who have been around longer is always a good ploy - there is some info in the Forum, but obviously not loads - as people keep their knowledge close to their chests so to speak!
As to how to get a lift / get passengers - refer to your Welcome e-mail. But also e-mail the club asking / begging for a lift etc.! As was explained when you joined, go on a weekend trip, talk to people and you will soon find out who the keen / active surfers are. From there it is easy......
Remember the phone is always the best way of contacting members - more personnel etc. etc.
Hope that helps.
